You take the S-Bahn (line S1 or S8). We would be pleased to call a taxi for you.
Animals
Animals are allowed after consulting the hotel. Cleaning fees depend on the size of the animal and vary between € 5.00 and € 10.00 per day (without food). We love animals… but not on our desks, chairs, in our beds and in our breakfast room!
Bank
There are plenty of bank offices nearby. The next cash machine is at our entrance.
Bar
The bar is open from 7pm to 1am … for beer and coffee you can ask our reception team any time. Smoking is, as in the entire hotel, not allowed.
Bathtowels
We replace bath towels only if you leave them on the floor, to not pollute the environment.
Bed linen
If you wish for them to be changed daily, tell us at the reception.
Beverages
Your mini-bar offers a rich selection of drinks. We are happy to serve you at the bar from 7pm. There’s also a vending machine in the lobby (also with sweets and snacks). We offer room service of the hotel bar from 19 o’clock.

Is available at the reception.
Breakfast
Our rich breakfast buffet is served between 6.30 am and 10 am from Monday until Friday. On Saturday, Sunday and Holidays it is available until 11 am.
Cardkey
Please do not forget to return your cardkey when checking out. The guest is hold responsible if the key is lost.
Check-out time
Our reception desk is working 24 hours a day. Check-out time is until 11 a.m. Should you require a late check-out/ extended stay, please contact the reception. We’ll do our best to please your wish, depending on the availability.
Church and religious services
Close to Marienplatz is our Gothic cathedral, the Frauenkirche with the two towers (99 m and 100 m), the distinctive landmark of our city. Munich also has over 80 churches of all denominations.

We accept cash payment in addition to all major credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Diner’s Club, JCB) and debit cards (Maestro / girocard). The cash payment of EURO against ec-or credit cards is not possible.

Excursions
Info brochures are awaiting you at the reception desk. You can get all schedules and tickets regarding the bus excursions (castles tour, Dachau, etc.) at the reception.
Fax
You can receive faxes at the reception +49 (0)89 30 90 66 31 30 and also send faxes for a small fee.
Fire
Please remain calm and call the reception (tel. 298), tell them your room number and the most accurate description of the fire source and remain – if escape is not possible anymore – in the room. Wet hand and bath towels and tighten joints so that the door is sealed. After that open the window and call for help. We are perfectly prepared for emergencies. Help comes as quickly as possible. You do best by STAYING CALM, do not do anything inconsiderate!
Flowers
The next flower shop is located in Goethestrasse, at the corner of Bayerstrasse and in the main train station. We would like to assist you when purchasing flowers. Further information is available at the reception desk.
Football
This impressive stadium is worth seeing even without a football match to watch. The best way to get there is by taking the subway U6 direction Garching and to get off at station Fröttmaning. Guided tours through the Allianz Arena Stadium take place every day (not on game days).

Hofbräuhaus
Once you get to Marienplatz, go through the gate, turn left into Sparkassenstrasse and right into Pfisterstrasse … welcome to Munich’s famous beer hall!
Information in general
Our reception staff will gladly help you with getting access to the Internet. You can use one of the PCs in the hotel lobby daily from 6 am till 12 pm, free of charge. The house also offers glass fiber W-Lan connection, so you can use your laptop as well. Please ask for a personal pincode at the reception desk. It’s not allowed to use the guest-LAN to download or spread any copyrighted material!
Internet
There is a W-Lan-access for your notebook in the entire house. The valid PIN for using it you will get by check in at the reception. There is as well a computer with Internet access at your disposal in the lobby. However, the access is free of charge.
Iron
We bring you the iron and the iron board (please contact the reception after using them, so we can forward the iron to another guest with the same wish). Ironing at night is forbidden because of fire-regulation reasons.
IT service
Our qualified IT service is available for questions and assistance. The costs are based on the effort.
Laundry and dry cleaning
At Stachus – shopping mall is a laundry and cleaning service. At Paul Heyse Str. 21 there is a launderette cleaning service. (Costs depend on effort) We will be happy to bring your dirty laundry to the cleaning service. Just hand it in at the reception before 8 a.m. Mon-Fri. Return is due on the second day by 12:00 noon.
Laundry and ironing service
If things have to be done quickly, our hotel laundry service is happy to help, washing and ironing your laundry, usually within 1 hour (daily between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.)
Lost and found
Forgotten and lost items are stored in the hotel for two month after they were found. Please contact us via fax or email with a description of the lost object as well as the day of your departure (and the room number). After 2 months the lost and found items are forwarded to charity organizations. Marienplatz
How to get there is by far the most frequent question: You leave the hotel, turn left then turn right on the first street (Bayerstrasse) and go straight on. You’ll reach the pedestrian area which leads to Marienplatz (approx. 15 walking minutes) with e.g. Hofbräuhaus, Viktualienmarkt, Maximilianstrasse and Theatinerstrasse.

Movies
Munich has the densest movie net in Germany (75 theaters). The closest theater is Matthäser Filmpalast in the Bayerstrasse.
Munich
The “metropolitan city with heart” should become your most favorite one. We can advise you on sights worth seeing. The cultural offer is almost infinite. We have 46 museums, 5 castles within the city area as well as 14 exhibition houses.
MVV (Munich traffic group)
The MVV is a cooperation between Munich, the free state of Bavaria and 8 communities for passengers’ use with the slogan “1 net, 1 timetable, 1 ticket”.
Non-smoking
Smoking is forbidden in the entire hotel. You will be held liable for any costs that might occur due to a violation of these terms (activating the fire alarm, additional room cleaning, claims for compensation).
Nymphenburg Castle
The Schloss Nymphenburg is worth a visit. It has been built in 1664 by Agostino Barelli by order of elector Ferdinand Maria for his son. You take the Tramway 17 in front of the main station, direction Amalienburgstrasse, station: “Schloss Nymphenburg”.
Parking
You can park your car in our garage (informations and reservations at the front desk). Alternatively, you can park your car on the street (free of charge on weekdays from 11:00 pm till 09:00 am). The closest public car park is at central station.

Rent-a-car
Sixt, Avis, Europcar and Hertz are at the main station (approx. 10 walking minutes), Buchbinder is in the Landsberger Strasse (approx. 20 walking minutes) – your reception team will gladly assist you.

There are plenty of restaurants for every taste. Our reception will gladly assist you in selecting a restaurant.

Is our greatest concern. Please read the directions on each floor. We are very thankful for any information regarding a possible safety deficiency.
Safety deposit boxes
The safe in the room is available free of charge – for missing or mislaid valuables, cash or credit cards, we are liable within legal framework. Money or jewelry of a higher value can also be deposited in the central safe at the reception.

The closest S-Bahn station is the Central Station, which is reachable within 5 walking minutes. The timetables are at the reception desk.

Shopping
From Central Station, go straight on until you reach Kaufingerstrasse, Munich’s main shopping area. Once you exit the hotel turn left and go through the underpass. On the left side you will find: Rossmann drug store, Rewe grocery store, Aldi as well as a nice café.

Our reception team will inform you about everything there is to know about sightseeing tours. We also offer brochures on that topic next to the reception.
Smoking
Is not allowed in Bavarian bars and restaurants since 2008. Our hotel is a non-smoking hotel. Please enjoy your cigarette outside of the hotel. If fire alarms go off because of smoking (smoke detector), you will be hold fully liable. The costs incurred by fire alarm (fire department) are to be paid directly on site.
Stamps and mail
You can hand in your mail at the reception and we’ll bring it to the post office for you. We will also store mail for you that you’re waiting for. Regarding stamps, you can either get them at the reception or from the stamp machine located on Bayerstrasse (3 walking minutes).
Taxi service
The reception team will gladly order a taxi for you – please wait in the lobby, the taxi driver will pick you up there. (Waiting time 5-8 minutes except peak season or exhibition period). It is therefore highly recommended to order a taxi in the evening for the following morning). Please order a taxi to the airport also in the evening for the following morning.
Television
You can find the TV programs on an extra sheet. We do not offer any Pay-TV.
Toothbrush
You can get a disposable toothbrush at the reception desk.
Underground
Our U-Bahn station is the “central station”, which is reachable within 5 walking minutes. The timetables are at the reception desk.

Zoo
You can reach Zoo Hellabrunn by taking the U3 direction Fürstenried West. Exit at station Thalkirchen (Tierpark).
